An assessment of the grade of a diamond.

Often referred to as a certificate a Diamond Grading Report is an assessment of the grade of a diamond.

It will include the Colour, Clarity, Carat Weight, Cut and a plotted diagram of the diamond. Diamonds are only usually given reports when over 0.40cts.

There are many companies in the world offering Diamond Grading Reports and they can vary from laboratory to laboratory so we usually only use reports from the most trusted laboratory in the world the GIA (Gemmolocial Institute of America). The GIA was founded in 1931 as a non-profit organisation whose mission is to set and maintain the standards used to evaluate diamond quality in the diamond industry.
